Fruit fly eye in the scanning electron microscope

In the lower right corner you can see the compound eye of a fruit fly, which was recorded in the scanning electron microscope (SEM) at 1150x magnification.
In the middle you can see the whole eye at 580x magnification.
And on the left we have taken a picture of the whole fruit fly in the light microscope
