Potato under the scanning electron microscope

Below you see a thin section through a potato, which was recorded in the scanning electron microscope at 175x magnification. Centered at 500x magnification. At the top of the picture you can see the potato skin, at the bottom the cut open cells.
The starch granules, which are colored orange in the left image, are clearly visible.
On the right you can see them at 1000x magnification.
